We take a place-based, community-led approach.
This means focusing on specific areas, listening to the people who live there and working with them to explore what can be improved.
Rather than starting with policy, we start with lived experience and build from there.
1. Listen to communities
We engage with local people, particularly young people, to understand how they experience their neighbourhoods, what’s working and what isn’t.
2. Test ideas locally
We develop and support small, practical projects that explore how places can be improved in real, everyday settings.
3. Share what works
We use insights from this work to inform conversations, contribute to planning discussions and support better decision-making.
Community and Youth Engagement
Gathering insights from people across Western Sydney to understand lived experience and identify gaps in access, opportunity and local environments.
Place-Based Projects
Developing practical initiatives that focus on improving how local spaces are used, experienced and connected to everyday life.
Research and Insights
Translating community input into clear insights that highlight both challenges and opportunities across the region.
Advocacy and Influence
Contributing to broader discussions by bringing forward grounded, place-based perspectives that reflect real communities.
We focus on real places, real people and practical action.
Our work is grounded in everyday experience, not abstract models, and aims to demonstrate what better outcomes can look like in practice.
Our current focus is on Penrith and Blacktown, allowing us to take a more detailed, place-based approach.
Over time, we aim to expand this work across Greater Western Sydney.
Get Involved
We are always looking to connect with people who want to contribute to this work.
Whether you are interested in volunteering, sharing your experience or collaborating on a project, we’d welcome your involvement.
We focus on small, practical actions that can create visible change and build momentum.
