We are engaging with young people in Penrith and Blacktown to better understand their day-to-day experiences, challenges and opportunities.

This work focuses on how young people interact with their local areas, including access to activities, transport, public spaces and services.

The insights gathered will help identify gaps and inform future projects and advocacy grounded in lived experience.

Better Planning for Western Sydney White Paper

We are developing a Western Sydney focused white paper that brings together local insights and practical recommendations across housing, planning and infrastructure.

This work aims to highlight both systemic challenges and realistic opportunities for improvement, with a focus on outcomes that reflect how people actually live and move through the region.

Community-Led Placemaking Pilot

We are developing a community-led placemaking pilot to explore what makes local spaces feel safe, social and genuinely usable.

This work will focus on observing how people interact with existing places and identifying small, practical changes that can improve everyday environments.

The pilot is designed to test ideas in real settings and demonstrate what better local places can look like in practice.
