Co-Founder, Senior Academic Advisor & Spokesperson
Dr Ehsan Noroozinejad is an urban researcher and Senior Lecturer specialising in housing, urban transformation, and spatial equity. Through his work across academia and advocacy, he is committed to shaping more inclusive, connected, and resilient communities across Greater Western Sydney.
As Co-Founder of GWSAN, Ehsan brings research expertise, strategic insight, and a strong focus on evidence-based policy and systems change. He is also Coordinator of the NSW Affordable Housing Network and a frequent media commentator on housing and urban policy.
Academic Advisor - Research & Policy
Dr Anastacia Mortimer is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Western Sydney whose work focuses on community wellbeing, equity, and place-based outcomes. Through GWSAN, she supports research, engagement, and collaborative approaches to creating a more inclusive Greater Western Sydney.
Passionate about civic participation and systems change, Anastacia brings a thoughtful, research-driven perspective to advocacy and community development.
Academic Advisor - Housing
Dr Jeeva Sajan is a researcher and educator with expertise in social equity, community development, and public policy. Through her work across research and advocacy, she is committed to supporting more inclusive and community-centred outcomes for Greater Western Sydney.
At GWSAN, Jeeva contributes strategic insight and a strong focus on evidence-based approaches to social and spatial justice.

Shazya is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion consultant and Relationship Manager passionate about creating stronger, more inclusive communities across Western Sydney.
Through her work across community, corporate and advocacy sectors, she is committed to creating opportunities that strengthen participation, employment pathways and long-term outcomes for diverse communities.

Zoey is an undergraduate Sociology, Politics and International Relations student at UNSW with a strong interest in how place shapes people’s lived experiences across Greater Western Sydney.
They are passionate about amplifying local voices and supporting advocacy that promotes fairer outcomes in housing, infrastructure and access to resources.

Jacob is a recent Politics graduate from the University of Wollongong with a strong interest in public policy, regional equity and the role of government in shaping community outcomes across Greater Western Sydney.
He is passionate about improving economic opportunities and exploring how fair investment in housing, infrastructure and education can strengthen long-term resilience, prosperity and quality of life for local communities.

Ronny Calderon Vicencio is a governance and compliance professional passionate about strengthening community participation and improving outcomes across Greater Western Sydney.
He is committed to supporting evidence-based decision-making, practical solutions and stronger connections between communities and the institutions that serve them.
Our wider network includes volunteers and contributors across housing, planning, research, communications, youth engagement and community advocacy. They support GWSAN through research, storytelling, events, submissions and local engagement.
