Youth Voices is the participation community within the Western Sydney Youth Collective.
It brings together young people from across Greater Western Sydney to explore ideas, discuss local issues, build new skills and contribute to projects that create positive change.
Whether you're interested in community issues, leadership, writing, research, events or simply meeting like-minded people, Youth Voices provides a welcoming place to get involved.
There are no experience requirements and no expectation that you need to know everything. Everyone brings different perspectives, experiences and ideas and that's exactly what makes the community stronger.
Youth Voices is where conversations become action.
It provides opportunities for young people to:
connect with others who care about Western Sydney
discuss issues affecting their communities
contribute ideas and lived experience
develop leadership and communication skills
collaborate on projects and events
help shape the Western Sydney Youth Gazette
participate in research and advocacy
gain practical experience while making a positive difference
You choose how involved you'd like to be. Some people participate occasionally, while others become regular contributors and help lead projects.
